JD Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
Capture and documentation of Management Information/Business Intelligence requirements from clients, via interviews or workshops, ensuring suitable balance of business needs and delivery feasibility
Do the AS-IS analysis of business process and systems. Come out with TO-BE Solution Map business requirements (processes) to the platform Understand & recommend new technologies and products which enhance operations and Functionality of systems Create a high-level solution architecture after factoring in functional,performance & scalability requirements; Definition of the overall application architecture as it relates to analytics (e.g., interfaces, converted data,reporting, etc.); Application deployment planning and execution Responsible for design of overall BI solution from process perspective Design, size and estimate infrastructure requirements Configure Intelligence Dashboards by including reports, prompts and embedded content such as Links/Images & HTML objects
Implement BI security features including management of user ccounts and security privileges for each subject area and dashboards according to user requirements BI Cache management , BI User management Use proper performance tuning techniques across all aspects of the application (e.g., infrastructure, database, development tools) Troubleshoot BI problems. Identify, coordinate, and help resolve the root cause of day to day BI production issues.
Perform server administration tasks such as enable, start, stop or create a server component group or a component.Installation, maintenance and upgrade of the BI software
Desired Candidate Profile Must-Have Demonstrated hands-on technology, design, implementation,management, & leadership experience in successful BI reporting engagements At least 4-6 years experience in Business intelligence tools focused on data modeling, meta data and user interface.
Knowledge of Oracle BI Enterprise Edition is a must. Candidate should
have at least one end to end project implementation experience.
Good knowledge of various BI modeling techniques and data warehousing
concepts Strong knowledge of BI performance optimization techniques
Ability to understand complex data structures and how they can be
modeled for ad-hoc reporting Self-started, motivated, proactive and able to learn new skills quickly Good-to-Have -Certification in Oracle BI
-Extensive working knowledge and experience in Oracle and SQL Server.

2. Position Name: ETL Specialist SQL Server

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
Understand functional requirement and provides architectural, UI and
functional design specifications to the development team
Provide interfaces to the modules through techniques like data flow diagrams
and ER models
Design, develop and maintain high quality Extract, Transformation and Load
(ETL) processes that conforms to specifications and design guidelines
Complex mappings of varied Transformation Logics like unconnected and
connected Lookups, Aggregator, Joiner and Update Strategy Transformations.
Designing reusable components like mapplets, reusable transformations,
worklets and reusable control tasks to work with reusable business logic.
Identifying OLTP tables fields and map them with staging tables and OLAP
physical layer tables/schemas.
Test ETL code for accuracy and performance.
Help in developing standards/best practices in ETL design and maintenance.
Define and capture metadata and rules associated with ETL processes.
Employ cost effective techniques in design of physical ETL processes to meet
immediate and future business needs.
Conduct ETL process design/sizing estimates for data warehousing projects.
Administer the ETL software and provide support to the technical environment.
Estimate the time and resource requirements of ETL development work

Desired Candidate Profile
Must-Have At least 2-4 years experience in designing, creating and
managing ETLs Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services is a must
Ability to analyze, design, and implement Data Warehouse ETL process
Experience in Large DW environment and Large Databases
Knowledge of ER Data modeling and concepts
Capable of capturing and modeling complex business cases in terms
tables and relationships Capable of converting a relational data model to a dimensional one.Knowledge of star and snowflake schemas Knowledge of common ETL design techniques such as change data capture,key generation and optimization.Understand database concepts of referential integrity, indexes and
keys and table metadata.Ability to query source and target databases for unit testing Self-started, motivated, proactive and able to learn new skills quickly
Good-to-Have Extensive working knowledge and experience in Oracle and
SQL Server Able to code with DTS (Data Transformation Services), stored
Procedures (T-SQL) and .NET programs.
