Powergrid Corporation Recruiting Junior Engineers
POWERGRID, the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of the country and a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India is engaged in power transmissionbusiness with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete inter-State transmission system and operation of National & Regional Power Grids.
POWERGRID is on look out for young and bright professionals for appointment purely on Contract/Fixed Tenure Basis for a period of two years, which may be extended for a further period of one year depending upon requirement and based on periodical assessment of performance.
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria need to apply in the prescribed form in their own handwriting with a recent photograph affixed on it along with a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 400 (for AssistantEngineer/E1), Rs.200 (for Jr Engineer /S1) for general/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates in the form of Crossed Bank Draft from any Nationalized Bank only favouring “POWERGRID CORPORATION of INDIA LTD.” Payable at Kolkata. SC/ST/PH/EX-Servicement candidates are exempted fromapplication fee.
THe application complete in all respects and signed should be sent by ordinary post only at the following address. On the top of the envelop it should be super scribed as “Application for the Assistant Engineer (Elect) or Jr Engineer (Electrical) or Jr Engineer (Civil)” as the case may be.
