NHPC NEEDS ENGINEERS/JR. ENGINEERS IN ELECTRICAL DISCIPLINE ON FIXED TENURE BASIS FOR T&RE WORKS IN J&K STATE
Walk-in-interviews on 25th, 26th & 27th July 2011 at Jammu
NHPC Limited, a Mini Ratna Schedule ‘A’ Enterprise of Govt. of India, is
looking for Engineers and Junior Engineers in Electrical discipline “On Fixed Tenure Basis” for strengthening & augmentation of Distribution and Sub-Transmission System and Rural Electrification works in Seven Districts in the State of J&K.Introduction about the job.
In the “Electricity to ALL” scheme of Govt. of India under Rajiv Gandhi
Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojna, NHPC has been assigned electrification job of 31,000 villages at a cost of approximately Rs 2600 crores to be implemented on a turnkey basis in the states of J&K, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, West Bengal and Bihar. These schemes are being implemented in a time bound manner on priority basis.
NHPC urgently requires Engineers/ Jr. Engineers in Electrical Discipline
on fixed Tenure Basis for a period of one year for T&RE Works in : Jammu,Udhampur, Kathua, Srinagar, Budgam, Leh and Kargil in the State of J&K.
Essential Qualification:
Engineer BE/B.Tech. degree/AMIE in Electrical from a recognized
University/Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 55%
Marks or equivalent grade.
Junior Engineer
Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized
polytechnic with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.

. Affix passport size photograph on each copy of application form. The
candidate has to bring these four printouts dully filled in along with necessary
supporting documents.
. Selection shall be made through Personal Interview.

. The Candidates will have to appear for interview as per following
schedule at Regional Office, NHPC Limited, Block No. 1, JDA Commercial
Complex, Narwal, Jammu(J&K), PIN-180006.
