THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

The Roadmap 1 team is responsible for the development of two core products at 2ergo. The two products currently residing within the team are a Mobile Security and Payment product, and, a Voucher and Ticketing product. As this is a Roadmap team the main focus of the team is to enhance the functionality and service offered by the products, so the dominant aspect of this team is on new development.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To be a key member of an IT development team working on cutting edge software systems, in particular a Secure Messaging platform. We are looking for someone who has strong skills in .Net 2.0 or above, particularly C# (both Web and WinForms preferable); with a good knowledge of manipulating and storing data to ensure the platform remains scalable at enterprise level. Additionally you will have strong skills in SQL Server 2005 and XML, with knowledge of working with Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Any knowledge of encryption and security technologies is highly desirable, along with strong UML combined with OOA and OOD experience. Operating in the mobile industry arena the role will involve maintaining and optimizing the data layer in conjunction with enhancing the platforms growth. As well as being technically adept in Microsoft technologies we are looking for a candidate with the right attitude and a sense of commercial awareness who will progress with a growing company that has already demonstrating excellent growth. We are looking for a strong candidate who not only can bring a good deal of experience with them but is willing to learn and grow in a role which offers a large amount of technical growth and career progression.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Development & Design To develop key areas of the platform to timescales in line with a set of requirements and designs

To produce designs on specific areas of the system when presented with a set of requirements. Ideally utilising UML with OOA and OOD principles

As the platform is dependent on manipulating very high transaction levels the applicant will be involved with the design and optimization of data by means of a data layer and databases

Analysis of current database design and development of future data storage needs

Aid in bringing in projects to timescales and costs

Investigate and research future technical opportunities for the company

Take part in discussing with clients and partners the technical requirements and methods of integration

Will be required to give assistance to the support team when issues arise that need to be technically assessed

Project and Team Management Possess the ability to work as part of a team, and self-manage where required
